About This Project

An online publication Zimdaily also pictured Chigumba at the Presidential inauguration ceremony in an attempt to trigger hate against her under the caption ‘ako kapedza hako Makanyara, kakuenda’,  meaning ‘done and dusted. There she is Makanyara’, in reference to Chigumba’s second name. This was meant to trigger an online violent reaction by citizens against her in light of the disputed Presidential result.
